Alphonse Mucha, a XXXIII degree Free Mason, had concealed in his works a message of interest to the whole world.

Outside the Institute of Art and Archaeology, also known as the Michelet Centre, located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, and housing the Department of Art History and Archaeology of the Sorbonne University and the Panthéon Sorbonne, a declaration was made at 11.11 a.m. on Sunday that Alphonse Mucha, a XXXIII degree Mason, had concealed in his works a secret of interest to the whole world.

Understanding Cultural Heritage, the organisation responsible for the new discoveries, stressed that the timing and location of the revelation of the great secrets were not coincidental. It is the result of seemingly random groupings which, upon examination, fit together perfectly: XXXIII, the serial number of the Olympiad, XXXIII being the degree of Mucha's Masonic status; Venez partager, the slogan of this year's Olympiad, meaning Let's Share, and the essence of that which has been discovered. With extraordinary virtuosity, Mucha has concealed in his works a secret that can enthral the entire cultural world. And finally, the mysterious Phrygian cap, the symbol of this year's Olympics, the meaning of which goes far beyond its current perception.
